Range extender for DJI Mavic drones, specifically designed for the Mavic Mini controller, yet most likely compatible with all DJI drones due to identical antenna designs. A reflective foil tape backing was used in construction. Flexible filament / TPU printing is required for the antenna grip, which should fit snugly into the extension hole as shown. If you attempt this setup, please share your results! Two test flights were conducted, resulting in a 1,000ft range increase on one and a 400ft boost on another. Variable performance is expected based on environmental conditions; however, these extenders do appear to function effectively. Update 3/25/2020 - The size of the antenna grip opening has been increased by 0.5mm, simplifying attachment to the antenna while still providing secure grip.
