DJI Mavic 2 Hand Catch Legs - Mod for Small Printer
thingiverse
I frequently deploy my drone from a boat for professional reasons. These handles are indispensable for hand launching/recovery due to the movement and magnetic interference from the deck. Originally, I manufactured the first set using my Flash Forge Dreamer, which fit perfectly on the bed. However, after a friend's drone crashed into the sea with my legs attached (it sank instantly), we were away and I had to utilize the work printer, an UP Mini 2, to print additional ones. Using the .f3d file provided by alessandropasqualotto, I re-engineered them to be split into three pieces and assembled when necessary. This enables the compact bed of the UP Mini 2 and also facilitates storage. I appreciate alessandropasqualotto for their exceptional design. UPDATE 11FEB20 - Notably, the clips were slightly oversized. I've resized them to 97% and they now fit perfectly. I've replaced the files with updated versions available for download as well. Pictured is one of my Work-Drones; yes, my callsign is indeed "Bin Chicken".
