Mavic's batteries drain rapidly on their own and even faster when plugged into the drone. Removing the battery was not my preference until recently, as the drone's surface has become rougher and could accumulate dust in the battery slot over time. To solve this issue, I created a battery dummy that fits snugly into the empty battery slot, allowing me to store the drone safely in a bag or backpack without worrying about dirt accumulation.
