One piece would be attached again using epoxy to the carbon tube. The challenge was modifying the holding structure since DJI motors used in the Inspire 1 have 90° support. I designed the motor support for DJI E800 3510 type motors or any 3510, which should respect mounting hole distances by design. So I kept the six assembly screws to mount the two pieces together while adjusting their position so that I could add four vertical motor mount holes. For the bottom leg part, I pretty much kept the same structure and design, making parts suitable for 3D printing. The second issue I had was fitting an ESC in there since the space is limited in height and width. I looked at the most popular RC stores online and found a 40-amp ESC compatible with the available space. I will add reinforcement and structure placement once I choose the final ESC.
