I've been searching for a way to use the DJI airunit on my OG aluminum Armmattan chameleon, and I finally found designs that work for other models, but not for the NON TI version. I've made several revisions to these designs, and I believe I have a functional complete system now. The button head M3 will pass through the TPU air unit holder and the extender, so both components share the same bolt. Snap in the MMCX last to prevent it from popping off during a crash. I still use a single tie wrap over the air unit and plan to come up with a better holder later. I also use tie wraps to V the antennas. Please follow the photo for orientation above and let me know if you have any issues or if you think of a revision that could help. My AUW is 561g, and I have some ideas when I get time - try bigredram87@yahoo.com Air Unit Base V1.0: Use TPU for this, with my infill set to 50%. To use this without the top plate being too far off the bed, you must use a button head M3 or an ultra low profile M3. I didn't want my air unit touching the screws and the standard M3 made the top plate 2MM higher. Air Unit Extend NUT: Use PETG for this; I didn't use any supports. The retaining nut is designed for an M3, and the top ones are easier to put in upside down (nuts first). You must get a shorter countersunk M3 or file the stock M3 so it doesn't protrude farther than the nuts. Cam Adapter: I used TPU on this but assume PETG could also be used. ***I actually used #2 screws and nuts to design this because the M2 didn't come yet; if you try this and the M2 doesn't fit, please let me know and I'll adjust. MMCX Lock: Print TPU for this part; it snaps into the back of the AIR unit extend nut part. The idea was that it will hold in the MMCX connections from falling out. V1.2 secures the antennas in the air unit much better and orients them outwards a bit to keep the V better. OG Chameleon front spacer: Print in TPU; it has a slight angle, so make sure you install it the correct way (notch side down). The notch is designed in because my Kakute HDV 4-1 connector was rubbing on it.
