DJI FPV Analog Goggle Mod
thingiverse
I tried my hand at creating a DIY analog goggle mount for DJI FPV goggles. The goal was to design a mod that could be easily taken on and off for storage purposes. I noticed that many existing files were made for V1 of the adapter board, not the V2. This model is specifically designed for the V2 board, which explains the cutout on one side of the enclosure for the PCB and switch. The adapter board used can be found here https://www.racedayquads.com/products/analog-fpv-fatshark-module-adapter-for-dji-digital-fpv-goggles?variant=31203537453169 . It comes with necessary cables, so all you need to do is print these parts and you're ready to go. The enclosure attaches on the right side of the goggles and quickly slides in and out of the mount. The enclosure and other parts were designed to be printed without supports and are already oriented for printing. Several pieces will need to be cut away from the enclosure, including the V support, power switch support, adapter board retention knob supports, and the overhang layer for output power and signal cable outputs. All of these support pieces can be easily cut and pulled away with side cutters and pliers. The knobs seem like they have enough grip to hold the adapter board in place, but there are also holes for two M2x4mm screws to secure the board in the enclosure if you prefer. After inserting the board with the switch first, slide the other side of the board down so that the holes in the board fit over the knobs in the back of the enclosure. You can then secure the board with the two screws. To remove the adapter board, please use needle nose pliers to grab the bolt holes instead of any of the connectors. Now, slide the support on the knobs and you're ready to insert your rapidfire module and put the lid on! Note that I used the outside row of pins on the adapter board for this design, but it's not clear if the inside pins work as well. If they do, the lid won't line up properly.
With this file you will be able to print DJI FPV Analog Goggle Mod with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on DJI FPV Analog Goggle Mod.
