DJI F550 / 450 Folding Landing gear legs

The landing gear for the F550 and F450 drones made by DJI started malfunctioning just a couple of days after I installed them. This problem with the original DJI landing gear is its lack of foldability, making it necessary to remove it every time I travel with my drone. Designing good and foldable landing gear that can be attached to the bottom plate is not easy, but I am still thinking about how to make it happen. Meanwhile, I looked online for landing gear that I could use on my F550 and found a few options, but they were all mounted on the arms and not foldable. This made transportation of my drone very difficult. After some time spent designing and experimenting, I came up with this foldable landing gear. One issue I faced during design was how to make it stay folded or unfolded. My solution was simple - R clips. The new design features 2mm holes for the R clip to insert when folded or unfolded. However, I went to my local hardware store and could not find R Clips that matched perfectly. So, I had to make my own from a wire coat hanger, which is definitely an unconventional method! The middle hole of the clip is 4 mm in diameter, and I used an M4 screw with a length of 16 mm for the connection. Since 3D printers often make holes smaller than designed, it was not necessary to use a nut, but I suggest using a slightly longer screw (20mm) and an M4 locknut for added security.
