Air frame designed specifically for the DJI FC 40 and Phantom 1 drones. The body weighs approximately 25.0 oz when ready to fly without a battery or gimbal, with a stock body weight of 22.7 oz. This air frame will accommodate batteries up to 5200 mAh in size. It requires soldering longer wires from the motor to the ESC for proper installation. Print Speed Details: * Body: 100% complete * Legs: 80% complete * ESC Bracket: 70% complete * Arm Clip: 70% complete * Leg Bracket: 60% complete Hardware used includes 6/32" or 3mm stainless screws for the arm to body connection. Small parts were printed with a layer height of 0.3 mm, while large parts were printed with a layer height of 0.4 mm. Assembly Instructions: * The body has a V-notch forward. * Arm spacers are used to accommodate thicker batteries. * The ESC bracket is glued to the arm. * Cleaned arm and gimbal holes with a 3.5mm bit, leg bracket holes were cleaned with a 27/64 bit, and receiver mount holes were cleaned with a 1/8" or 1.5mm bit. Adhesives Used: * Velcro was used for battery attachment. * Glue was also used in various areas. Note: The gimbal design is available on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2465564.
