Female figure. Inner Niger Delta region, Mali. 13th-15th century. Terracotta with ochre/red slip, stands at a height of 37.5 cm. This artifact has a rich history, previously owned by Dr. Pierre Harter before being acquired by the Musée du Quai Branly in Paris, where it is cataloged as inv. 73.1991.0.39.
