DJ Laptop Stand (Portable)
thingiverse
Ben D., a student in drafting class, designed this laptop stand using Solid Edge software. For those interested in replicating the design, he has shared his .par and .asm files. The portable laptop stand was created to improve organization in Ben's DJ space by elevating the laptop for easier use while standing and increasing airflow for heat dissipation. 3D printing with PLA on a Makerbot Dual is recommended using settings of 3 shells, 50% infill, nozzle temp at 190°C, and bed temp at 0°C. Each part needs to be printed twice, with some requiring support; all parts are friction fit, but super glue may be used for added stability.
