Create DIY wheels using a laser cutter with quarter-inch birch plywood. Stack three wheels together and attach them to a hub (Pololu P/N 1083 for a 6mm axle) with #4-40 x 1" screws, securing with Loc-tite to prevent loosening. Finish by placing a rubber band (such as a #105, 5/8" wide x 5" long) over the wheel's teeth for a robust and customized robot wheel.
