DIY USB-UART Adapter with Galvanic Isolation: A Must-Have Tool for the Job. Working with devices that have a direct connection to mains requires a level of caution, which is where this handy tool comes in. After printing, I carefully cut and glued Plexiglas inserts into the top part's slits, which were used for LED indication. To ensure a flush fit, I hand-sanded the entire housing, preventing the Plexiglas from protruding.
