DIY Smart Plant Container

<p><strong>This is a work in progress project and will be updates as I make progress</strong></p><h3>Vision</h3><p>I wanted to make my own “smart” watering plant container that also can give the plants the right amount of light.&nbsp;<br><br>My vision for the planter is that it should be able give the plants light for x amount of hours and also water the plants within a given time.</p><h3>Features</h3><p>Currently it does not so much. It features a height adjustable led light for the plants inside the container.</p><h3>Instructions</h3><p>Print all of the joints normally and assemble after the picture.&nbsp;<br><br>The bottom spacer was created by shrinking the top and bottom layer to zero and by using the honycomb infill pattern.</p><h3><strong>Components</strong></h3><p>This is the components I have used so far:<br>- Countertop LED lighing from Jula (https://www.jula.no/catalog/el-artikler-og-belysning/armaturer/innendorsbelysning/lysskinner/led-list-006080/)<br>- 20mm K-pipe (https://www.biltema.no/bygg/elinstallasjoner/installasjonsror/k-ror-2000022449)<br>- Storagebox (https://www.jula.no/catalog/bygg-og-maling/oppbevaring/oppbevaringshyller-skuffer/oppbevaringsskuffer-kurver/oppbevaringsboks-009382/)<br><br>(There is no need to use the exact components that I have used but it might require you modify the 3d models or create similar adapters for your project)</p><h3>Plans</h3><p>I will continue to work on the watering part of it. I picture using the bottom of the planter as the storage for water and then it pumps water up from the bottom through a filter and into the plant again. Have to look into doing it in a way that would not clog up the system if dirt falls down to the bottom.&nbsp;</p><h3>&nbsp;</h3>
