DIY Rolling Pin(s)
thingiverse
Human: I've struggled with uneven cookie dough for a long time. Rolling Pin Rings didn't deliver the results I wanted, so I came up with this DIY design. Now my dough rolls out much more evenly. I made sure the thickness of the end caps matches the gap between individual rolling pins, providing an instant visual check before rolling out your dough. You might not need all four sizes (2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm), but it's good to have them on hand. I find that 3mm is perfect for Sugar Cookies and 2mm works great for Pie Dough. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple Black Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .25mm Infill: 50% Notes: You'll need a 1 1/2" PVC Pipe, some sand to fill it, and either Super Glue or Epoxy for this build. I recommend using a sheet of Wax Paper or Parchment Paper between the rolling pin and your dough. Hand washing is recommended for the rolling pins, as you don't want an end cap coming loose in the dishwasher.
