This DIY hot air station is designed for smd soldering. It consists of a hot air gun, an electronic card built from scratch, an Arduino nano, a DC-DC booster, a 12V power supply unit, and a REX C100 PID controller with SSR relay. The Arduino code and the electronic card's wiring can be found in the thing files provided. To ensure safe handling of the hot air gun, the design includes a magnetic support that switches off heating when the gun is placed on it. At this point, the fan kicks in at 80% power to cool the gun down while the LED light turns red. After 30 seconds have passed, the fan powers off and the LED light changes color back to blue. Additional safety features include: * Blue: 24V Fan Negative * Brown: 24V Fan Positive * White: 230V Heating Element * Grey: 230V Heating Element * Red: K-type Probe Positive * Black: K-type Probe Negative * Red: Magnetic Switch * Green: Magnetic Switch REX C100 Settings: AL1 => 1000 ArV => 0 P => 5 l => 0 d => 20 Ar => 100 r => 100 SC => 35 LCY => 0 Note that these settings may be subject to improvement for enhanced precision.
