DIY RC Reel Mower

After printing these parts you can assemble and test an RC Fiskars reel mower as a DIY project.

Print instructions

Most of these parts are better as PETG.
Make sure to mirror one set so you have Left and Right components.
Experiment with solid and infill areas to get the strength you feel you need. Too solid and you'll have thermal deflection and the parts won't print right, they will peel.

The board connecting the back needs to fit your brackets, and allow alignment of your drive gears. I used 3/4" plywood.
Pocketed areas are for standard 1/4-20 hardware (nuts/bolts)

Motors are from junk hoverboards. I used Hover-1. Some will be noisier and harder to get to work with ODrive properly.

I applied a small amount of Gorilla Glue between areas as needed such as to more firmly bed the motor shafts and at the interface between motor and gear to prevent slippage.

Bearings are 6004-2RS

ODrive is 56V No connectors: https://odriverobotics.com/shop/odrive-v36
