DIY portable hair cutter and multi-functional tool kit using 3D printer, all in one
thingiverse
It's been quite a while since we escaped the coronavirus quarantine zone, and now it's high time to get back in shape with a fresh haircut. My previous DIY hair cutter powered by a USB supply was a decent attempt, but it lacked that extra something special. This time around, I've made some significant upgrades using an AA power source and created an all-in-one multi-functional tool kit station. The tiny tools not only serve as a hair cutter but can also double up as a drill, grinding machine, cutting device, fan, and vacuum cleaner - each one powerful in its own right, perfect for modeling enthusiasts like myself. I've crafted this video to share my learnings with you all and invite you to do the same. Maybe we can help each other out and create something truly remarkable. This isn't my first rodeo, but I believe this project showcases a smooth process that others can follow and build upon. Who knows, maybe someone will find inspiration in the smallest details? If so, please don't hesitate to share your experiences with us - after all, together we can make the world a better place. Don't forget to hit that subscribe button; your support means the world to me! I'll continue to post updates and videos, hoping they'll be of some assistance to you. Thank you kindly for watching! All parts were printed without support except for the hair cutter head. I used a layer height of 0.2 mm. Want more info? Head over to my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/6NGaP9zpKHE During my experimentation, I stumbled upon some interesting facts. The fan works beautifully with the hair cutter blade, but when it comes to the fan itself, it only blows air in one direction - suction mode, no matter how fast the motor spins. Essentially, the fan cover is redundant (though adding more height might make it functional). Given the motor's incredible speed, I think it's time to dive deeper into airflow dynamics. More research will follow!
