DIY Porsche GT3 buttonbox for simracing
cults3d
Made this a while ago for myself. I wanted it to look like the Porsche GT3 buttonbox and a bit like the one from Fanatec with a screen. It had to fit a d-shape wheel from OMP or Motamec or a cheap aliexpress wheel. So i made one that would fit a 0,96" oled screen. For this build you need 2 arduino's because the oled needs a lot of frame buffers. Also use a Nano for it. For the buttons you could use a Pro Micro. On how to use the screen look at here: https://github.com/SHWotever/SimHub/wiki/Arduino-SSD1306-0.96%27%27-Oled-I2C#restrictions To use 2 arduino with only one usb. Use one of these hubs: https://www.tindie.com/products/tinkerboy/tinkerboy-4-port-usb-hub-breakout-board/ https://www.tindie.com/products/mux/microhub-the-smallest-usb-hub-with-connectors/ https://www.tindie.com/products/mux/4-port-nanohub-tiny-usb-hub-for-hacking-projects/ https://www.yoctopuce.com/EN/products/extensions-and-networking/micro-usb-hub-v2 Materials: 12mm push buttons 2 rotary encoders or 2 knitter switches 0.96" oled screen Arduino Nano Arduino Pro Micro M5 - 12mm (countersunk) M5 - 40mm (countersunk) m2 - 8mm m2 - nuts m3 - 12mm m3 - 8mm m3 - nuts GX12 4 pins connector 10x5 neodymium magnets. (I prefer N52) D-shape wheel from Motamec, omp or AliExpress For personal use only - non commercial - not for resale. You cannot sell the digital model, a derivative or adaptation of the model, nor can you sell prints of the model.
