DIY PixelStick - Magic Image Wand
thingiverse
This is the latest design of my DIY pixelstick, now called the Magic Image Wand. I changed the design to use the TTGO T1 which has a nice little TFT color display. This allowed for some nice new features, one of which is the ability to display the BMP file. It also now calculates how much time the image will take and how far you should walk to keep the perspective correct. See these for the previous versions. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4613446 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4660045 You can find the code and all the details here: https://github.com/MartinNohr/MagicImageWand There is a docx file that describes the details of how the wand works and all of its features. Download that file, there is no good reason to duplicate it here. There is a schematic if you want to build your own, or you can order the PCB from me. The github site has additional stl file if you want to build your own without the PCB. The Fusion 360 files are also there if you want to customize anything. It still supports two 1 meter LED sticks even though I didn't show any pictures with the second strip attached.
