Design goal: build a Yagi antenna using DIY parts from local stores. We headed to our local store named Gamma (gamma.nl) and picked out several essential components. Our selections included a bag containing 25 cable clamps, "Kabelzadel 6-12 mm" https://www.gamma.nl/assortiment/zoeken?text=kabelzadel, aluminum tubing with a 7mm diameter and a length of one meter for the antenna elements, and another piece of aluminum tubing with dimensions 13 x 1 mm and a length of one meter for the boom. Using OpenSCAD, we designed connecting plates. Photos show different versions that were evaluated. The Yagi antenna design is based on ZS6TVB's work, which can be seen at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2255079. This project is ongoing, and our next step will be designing the antenna coax connection.
