DIY Micro 4/3 Lens v1.1 single lens design

Just grab a 10x cup magnifier, such as a Carson LL-10 or a clone found at Daiso stores, and you'll be ready to craft a new lens for your Micro 4/3 camera. The focal length comes in around 60mm. If short focus lengths are what you're after, take a look at the duo lens design over on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:563276. Instructions: This design is self-supporting and prints best with thin layers. I print mine out at a 0.1 mm layer height, but 0.2 mm also work well. Take apart the cup magnifier and you'll find two optical lenses inside. Simply grab one and snap it into the back of the focus ring. The plano-convex lens from Carson LL-10 and the biconvex lens from Dasio both function just fine in a DIY Micro4/3 lens, although they display different distort patterns.
