DIY Metal Fuel Tank Repair
thingiverse
To fix a rusted power washer gas tank, I used a sandblaster to remove rust from its interior bottom and found ABS slurry for my 3D printer useful in sealing pinholes. After cleaning the tank with acetone and compressed air, I poured in about 1/4 cup of ABS slurry, let it sit under a heat lamp for an hour, and sealed the holes without leakage. Ensure there's no slurry in threaded fittings before using the power washer, which has worked well for two weeks so far. This method may assist others facing similar issues.
