DIY MERCEDES AMG GT3 EASY Steering Wheel
pinshape
Build your own high-quality Mercedes AMG GT3 steering wheel for your simulator with the DIY project from SimWheel Designs. It's easy to build because you can use a Zero Delay Arcade for the electronics. The steering wheel is 300mm long and comes without the magnetic paddle shifter, which you can download from Pinshape. You'll also need to download the cover buttons label in AMG style, available on Pinshape as well. If you want to order the front plate file, you can do so to cut it with a CNC machine. We recommend using aluminum or carbon fiber (4mm) for the front plate. To build this project, you'll need the following parts: M3x20 hexagonal countersunk flat head screws (6) M3x10 hexagonal countersunk flat head screws (2) M3x4 brass inserts (6) You'll also need a PG7 black plastic waterproof cable gland joint and 6mm mini momentary automatic return push button switches. To assemble the steering wheel, use a Zero Delay Arcade for the electronics. The print settings are as follows: 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 - 0.18 layer height, and 75%+ infill.
