DIY MECHANICAL VENTILATOR
thingiverse
I got intrigued by such a project during the COVID-19 pandemic. I chose to make a breathing device out of affordable and easily accessible components. This project was designed to inspire others to come up with their own concepts for this type of device even as a hobby. This device is powered electrically, not pneumatically like other medical devices. No compressor is needed to power the device; just electricity. All you need is electricity. BOM can be found inside the files. Parameters: MIN breaths per minute: 10 MAX breaths per minute: 20 MIN air volume: 100 ml MAX air volume: 1700 ml Description of device operation: The servo opens the valve to let out the air after a pumping cycle. A pressure relief valve has been designed on the side of the valve, which will work in the event of unexpected airflow through the mask (while coughing). Power Supply: 24V DC (min 2A) 5V DC (min 2A) VIDEO https://youtu.be/6XbAm0daHfc Information: The keyboard needs to be improved for faster operation. Total cost = ~240 PLN COMMENTS You use this equipment at your own risk. I do not take responsibility for making the device not in accordance with the assembly instructions. I do not promote any of the brands listed in the project.
