DIY Magnetic Stirrer

Check out this DIY Magnetic Stirrer video (http://youtu.be/LmRr1_csfh8) that I created to help dissolve HIPS support material using d-limonene. The 3D files are for the support frame and magnet bed only; you'll also need an standard 80x80mm 12V computer fan, a power supply with DC voltage between 6V - 12V, a Teflon coated stirrer from eBay, two rare earth magnets (from an old Seagate Barracuda HDD), hot glue and superglue, and a CD case. The magnet bed is designed for specific Seagate magnets but can be modified to accommodate others. Magnets are pressed into the plastic bed, the bed is glued to the fan with hot glue, and the top and bottom frame parts are joined using superglue. Finally, the frame clips onto a standard CD case.
