One of the best things about the Christmas Holidays is how creative gifts have become. I truly believe it's time for us to break free from buying mass-produced gifts at department stores. I've noticed a trend among my friends and me, and I think this is what Christmas is all about: making your own gifts and adding a personal touch. During a workshop organized by my company, Fantastic Services Group, as part of our green initiative, we created many beautiful things that are not only more environmentally friendly but also make thoughtful gifts. Soaps, lip balms, and small face cleansers were just a few of the projects we learned about using essential oils and natural ingredients. For this project (my personal favorite), you'll need: • 2 grams of Beeswax • 4 grams of Pure Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil • 2 grams of Cold-Pressed Cocoa Butter • 4 grams of Cold-Pressed Almond Oil • Mineral Pigments of your choice • 1 drop of essential oil (I used orange) Please note that getting the right quantities is crucial. Instructions: 1. Measure all ingredients accurately on a small scale. 2. Turn on the melting pot (I used one for chocolate fondue). It works perfectly and cleans easily. 3. Add the Beeswax and melt it down completely. 4. Add the Coconut Oil and Almond Oil, stirring thoroughly until you have a homogenous mixture. 5. Add your Mineral Pigment and essential oil, mixing energetically and removing from heat. 6. Quickly transfer to a clean container. 7. Wait for the Beeswax to harden and the balm to cool down. Use in approximately half an hour. Enjoy! You can decorate it Christmas-style and give it as a gift to your female colleagues and girlfriends.
