DIY Lightbox Side & Top Light Stands
thingiverse
I have been doing a lot of printing of miniatures and terrain, and like to have nice photos when I share with friends. I wanted to make a cheap lightbox to improve my photography, and found this video: https://youtu.be/sDFDBX3gEDY I scaled it down, and made my lightbox a 14" square. Rather than the lighting suggested in the video, I thought I could do it better and cheaper by using inexpensive bright Harbor Freight LED lights, and making my own stands. The side light mounts can be printed in one piece, or in two, gluing the mount to the stand with your adhesive of choice (mine was super glue). The top mount is printed in three pieces (you need two of the arms), and snaps together. If you wanted to bridge a larger space, I think you could stretch the X to gain the length you need. The lights I used can be found here: https://www.harborfreight.com/ultra-bright-led-portable-worklightflashlight-63878.html Good luck! Please post your makes!
