DIY Laser Engraver

This is our home made Laser Engraver. The laser in the picture is a 20watt diode laser that is ran by an arduino. I can provide a full parts list and where I got them per request. This laser is powerful enough to deeply etch wood and cut paper products. With some calibration, it should be able to cut some thin sheets of wood. We have not tested it on anodized aluminum or sprayed glass, but theoretically it should be able to etch those as well. The cable chain was not designed by us. Please comment ideas you may have for improvements!
