DIY Joypad for Vintage Computers

DIY Joypad for Vintage Computers

thingiverse

This simple joy pad connects seamlessly with many older computers featuring 9-pin joystick ports, including the C64, Atari, Spectrum, and Amiga models. Various designs can be printed using a MMU or other multi-material systems, offering users flexibility in their creation. Tactile switches measuring 6mm are used, which are directly integrated into the case. If you know of silent tactile switch options, please share your findings! The joy pad's design eliminates the need for a PCB; instead, wires are soldered directly to the switches, with the ground connected between them. To facilitate multi-material printing, 3MF files are provided.
