I enjoy crafting my own tools for the workshop. Discovered an innovative design on YouTube for a do-it-yourself jointer made from a electric hand plane. Needed to create a custom cover and shield. Unfortunately, I didn't have the required red plastic for the shield, but it performs its intended function. A spring is connected to the guard rod. Attached the SKP files if anyone needs to make modifications to suit their DIY jointer project. Have fun building!
