DIY FIN Box - FCS II + TEMPLATE
thingiverse
Hi everyone. I'm sharing my weekend box fcs II that actually work! Use 5mm diameter screws for plastic parts. Thread them directly, slowly, and without deforming the piece with a whole turn inside and half turn out, so the chip comes out of the hole. They also come with a template to make holes using a milling cutter. The length of cut of the milling cutter needs to be 20mm, and adjust your router's height accordingly. Sand them well with 80 grit sandpaper. When routing the middle piece, be careful as the board's core is hard and you risk breaking the plastic template, unlike the fcs II which has a part-metal internal construction that makes it easier to work with. Route it smoothly. If you have any questions or need more information, just write to me at casa3d1@gmail.com and I'll get back to you shortly.
