Why pay $100 for a filament dryer when you could spend 100hrs making one?!?Designed a custom housing for a rechargeable silica dehumidifier so I could attach it to a plastic tub, making my own filament drying box... Some assembly required.Link for rechargeable dehumidifier: https://www.eva-dry.com/product/e-500-renewable-high-capacity-dehumidifier/ (Can find it on amazon but the link keeps changing, just search Eva-dry E-500)Link for plastic tub (holds 2x 1kg spools): https://www.amazon.com/DecorRack-Storage-Container-Containers-Airtight/dp/B07SZ9R8L7/ref=sr_1_28?dchild=1&keywords=DecorRack&qid=1603164388&sr=8-28Included files for version that was sliced in half (required epoxy assembly but prints without supports) as well as version without (but would require crazy supports or vertical printing, good luck).Keeps 2 normal spools nice and dry.Print SettingsPrinter Brand:CrealityPrinter: Ender 3 ProRafts:NoSupports: NoResolution:0.2Infill: 20%Filament: Hatchbox PETG White Notes: Had some PETG warping problems and the separate parts have pretty fine tolerances, so if I were to do it again I'd go with PLA.Epoxy on the seams makes it reasonably sealed. Door isn't epoxied, but fits tight. Probably better than nothing and at least I didn't have to pay a lot. Category: 3D Printer Accessories
