DIY Face mask for pandemic corona virus (Covid 19)

This DIY mask is crafted from polythene foam, which is surprisingly effective in blocking out particles. To make one, start by attaching a thick strip of foam to your forehead, ensuring it covers the area above and around your nose. As you wear it, the foam will mold itself to fit snugly against your face. Next, cut a transparent sheet of plastic or acetate to size, then use threads and a needle to stitch it onto the foam using a simple running stitch. To secure the mask in place from behind, tie a rubber band or lace around your head. Given that stores were closed due to the crisis, I had to rely on items I already had at home.
