Building a homemade electric bike using 3D printed parts requires dedication and patience, as it can be quite a challenging project. However, with persistence and attention to detail, you can achieve impressive results! https://youtu.be/9rIIJbDkpN8 If you're interested in building the same setup, I've listed the essential components below. As mentioned in the video, I would greatly appreciate it if you purchased these parts through my affiliate links, as this will help support my work and enable me to continue creating valuable content. Parts List: Bike: https://goo.gl/h2GIVm (UK)https://goo.gl/MNdU2O (USA) 3D Printed Components: Motor: https://goo.gl/3HFwXg VESC: http://vedder.se/2015/01/vesc-open-source-esc/ Electric Scooter Throttle: https://goo.gl/yvloKG Saddle Bag: https://goo.gl/ilyxSJ Additional Components: 6s 5000mah Li-Po Battery HTD5 12T Pulley (with an 8mm bore for motor shaft) HTD5 800x15mm Belt 5pcs M4x30mm Bolts (clamping the motor mount to the frame) 4pcs M4x10mm Bolts (attaching the motor to the mount) 1pcs M4x50mm Bolt (seating roller bearings on this bolt) 5pcs M4 NYLOC Nuts 3pcs M3x10mm Bolts (assembling the electronics case) 5mm Wide Cable Ties (attaching pulley to spokes) EC5 Battery Connectors 4mm Bullet Connectors (for ESC) To build this ebike, you'll need basic knowledge of electronics and soldering. Additionally, a 3D printer is essential for printing the required parts. Note that the VESC can utilize the electric scooter's "analog signal" and input, eliminating the need for an Arduino board. Also, please be aware that these custom-designed brackets/pulley are specifically designed for the bike featured in the video. They will not fit any other bike, and I won't modify them to accommodate different bikes. Important Disclaimer: I do not assume responsibility for any wrongful riding if you choose to build this ebike. It exceeds the legal limit (250w) for an electric bike, which is why I rode it within the grounds of my university.
