https://youtu.be/I7woln6urVY I'm excited to share with you my DIY CNC machine project, a popular and fascinating topic on the internet. Many enthusiasts have created their own versions, but I want to show you how I built mine using a Dremel as a spindle. In my opinion, a CNC machine is an upgrade of a 3D printer, allowing you to create stronger parts from wood or metal, although it does come with some limitations (that's a topic for another video). To learn more about this project, check out my video on the subject. This is just the first part, and there will be more to follow, so make sure to subscribe. Also, keep in mind that this is a work in progress, and I may adjust some models or design elements as needed. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to ask me! Below are the parts I'll use to build this machine. T8 CNC Machine: https://goo.gl/wLLyht My Design: https://a360.co/2LeZZVf To get started, we'll need the following components: -Dremel tool -Aluminium Profiles 20x20x600mm (5) -12mm rod (about 2 meters) -500mm long trapezoidal lead screw 8mm (2): https://goo.gl/7oGeV8 -300mm long trapezoidal lead screw 8mm (2): https://goo.gl/qh1jEH -12mm linear bearing (6): https://goo.gl/v6P5DC -5 to 8mm coupler (5): https://goo.gl/as5cJ2 -T nut (50): https://goo.gl/gtL3Z8 -Screws: https://goo.gl/2USpv5 Additionally, we'll need: -Arduino+CNC shield+stepper drivers: https://goo.gl/CXwEkG -Power supply: https://goo.gl/r9vfmF -Stepper motors (4): https://goo.gl/LS9UAd -Relay: https://goo.gl/mgPM9M -Limit switches: https://goo.gl/Xc2964 -AC IEC socket with switch: https://goo.gl/9NJkKh In this first part of my DIY Dremel CNC project, I'll show you what my design looks like and all the parts we'll be using in future videos. In the next two or three episodes, we'll assemble this machine and hopefully mill some impressive projects. As a hobbyist, I've always been fascinated by the idea of having a CNC machine that can mill metals. It's an exciting prospect with endless possibilities for future projects! I already have several ideas brewing in my mind.
