Easy to build lab power supply from cheap eBay parts (approx. $16).\r\n\r\nWhat you need:\r\n- Power Supply unit: [eBay Search](https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=Adjustable+5A+Step-Down+Buck+LCD+Digital+Power+Supply+Module&_sacat=0)\r\n- Spare laptop power supply (I use one with 19.5V DC / 4.9A)\r\n- Black, red and yellow wires (from old PC power supply)\r\n- Female banana panel plugs: [eBay Search](https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=4mm+Banana+plug+Jack+socket+Female&_sacat=0)\r\n- On/off panel switch: [eBay Search](https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=power+switch&LH_BIN=1&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=rocker+switch&_sacat=0)\r\n- 4pcs 3x15mm countersink self-threading screws.\r\n- Printed case\r\n- Solder iron.\r\n\r\n*Note:* Max. output voltage is limited to input voltage - 0.5V. Using the suggested laptop power supply will give a max. output of 19V.\r\n\r\nFollow photos for assembly instructions.\r\n\r\nPrinting time for case is approximately 3½ hours.
