My goal is to manufacture high-quality CNC machines using materials sourced from DVD or CD-ROMs. Initially, I focused on designing a linear rail, which is crucial for this project. I hope you'll appreciate my work. After conducting an extensive search, trkmn017 user discovered his design concept. The design demonstrates excellent thought process, but the nail section poses difficulties during assembly. Tibuck's similar design reveals that creating teeth with silicone or epoxy paste is a viable idea. I've incorporated the best features from both designs into my own creation. Additionally, I've included a pre-assembled component for the nail that securely attaches to the motor shaft (Mil_holder.stl). You can use this model in conjunction with a simple bow or experiment with silicone or epoxy paste. To facilitate installation, I've added M3 holes. With the adapter, you can assemble X and Y linear rails at any desired distance. I've also included mounting holes for the engine; however, I'm unsure whether they will accommodate various stepper motors due to the presence of one specific stepper motor. The models have been sent to print. Following installation, we'll assess the outcome and determine if revisions are necessary.
