Owning multiple kayaks can quickly become expensive when trying to outfit each one with a Landing Gear System. My solution was to design and create a knuckle system for my other kayaks, then share the landing gear legs as needed. Please note that this project requires more than just simple off-the-shelf parts slapped together; it's a more complex DIY build that still offers a potentially longer-lasting solution. As I continue to refine the design under real-world applications, it's currently in a work-in-progress phase. The 3D printed insert is designed specifically for a 1.75" x 1.75" aluminum square tube with a 1/8" wall thickness. The length of this tube will depend on the individual builder's kayak requirements; I chose a 32-inch length for my Native Slayer Propel 10. The four angle brackets are made from the same square aluminum tubing, measuring 1" wide each. Modified stainless steel 5/16" x 1" carriage bolts were used to attach these brackets to the accessory rails. The knuckle spacer may or may not be necessary depending on your kayak's specific needs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTK80BSy91E
