I crafted these battery caps specifically for my copper aluminum saltwater battery cells, and to build a cell you'll need: 1. A soda can 2. Copper wire 3. Paper towel 4. Saltwater 5. Electrical tape To assemble the cells: 1. Prepare the cap by inserting the copper wire into the holes in the cap. 2. Cut off the top of the soda can and split it down the middle to create a sheet. 3. Sand the inside surface of the sheet to smooth it out. 4. Coil up the aluminum sheet so that you can fit one cap on it. 5. Secure the cap with electrical tape halfway around the casing. 6. Stuff paper towel into the battery casing. 7. Saturate the paper towel with saltwater until it's fully soaked. 8. Place the other cap on the opposite end and finish sealing the rest of the casing with tape.
