DIY Airboat
thingiverse
I've been itching to create a simple airboat for years, and when I was younger, I attempted to build one, but unfortunately, I never got around to figuring out the remote control aspect. Keep in mind that this is still a work in progress. ********************************************************************************* 07/20 - It finally works! The direction mechanism requires some adjustments (fins, fins support, gear) to improve the turning radius, despite this, it functions surprisingly well. ********************************************************************************* 07/19 - I've added revised versions for several parts. Some components were too flimsy and I corrected a few oversights. Currently printing the final part and assembling the airboat. ********************************************************************************* 07/18 - I've added a revised base version that should take less time to print and save some filament. Additionally, I've added support to the central arc. ********************************************************************************* I'm printing all of these parts with an E3D v6 equipped with a .4 nozzle and PLA.
