Diving cylinder stand
thingiverse
Diving cylinder stand is to be used for transportation of scuba cylinders. It holds cylinder in place preventing them rolling on a flat surface. 2 stand blocks should be used per cylinder. 2 versions available - smaller and larger. In most cases smaller stand will do just fine, but for heavier cylinders you may want to use larger stand. When not used, the stand blocks can be put together in the slots to take less storage space. Blocks have grooves at the bottom to provide some grip with the surface, also holes to be used with bungie rope or other fasteners. Added extra vertical walls provide additional strength to hold cylinder weight. The blocks can be printed with any material, I tried PLA, PETG, ABS and ASA. I had a bit more warping with ABS and ASA, that's why I added round "pancakes" at the bottom ends to help against warping. Once printed, the "pancakes" should be cut off. Despite the antiwarp "pancakes", a 5mm brim is a must.
