The Diving Bell was crafted by renowned port engineer Bindon Blood Stoney between 1828 and 1907, and constructed by Grendon and Co. in Drogheda. Completed in 1866, the Bell arrived at its destination and began serving the Port in 1871, playing a crucial role in constructing the Port's quay walls until 1958. Following a thorough refurbishment, visitors can now step inside the structure and explore its interior firsthand.
