DIY 20:1 Worm Gear Rotary Spindle 1.5-8 Thread, A Common Component for Small Lathes. I omitted the obvious screws and nuts from the disassembly process. I did not fully disassemble the spindle but made a deliberate choice to use snap rings instead of set screws between teeth. A single ring was already provided on the divider plate when purchased. To obtain three rings, I modified the divider plates and associated parts. The table below shows how to achieve more divisions than a single row can provide, using example plate models as references.
