This lure swims exceptionally well, with proven results from rigorous testing in freshwater environments. I've caught several nice-sized large mouth bass using it, and I attribute its success to the thoughtful design and printing process. I used a combination of black filament on the bottom and green glow PLA on top, switching between them seamlessly thanks to Cura's pause print at height plugin. To secure the hooks, I employed the smallest eye bolts from Home Depot and two number 4 treble hooks from Bass Pro. The lure was crafted using Tinkercad, a powerful online design tool that allows for effortless editing. You can access it here: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/7QQ67PNoit0 Print settings are crucial to achieving the desired outcome: * Rafts: Yes * Supports: Yes * Resolution: .1 mm recommended * Infill: 15% A higher resolution is essential for preventing water from entering the lure and ensuring it floats optimally. I used Cura as my slicer, setting the pause plugin to pause near the tops of the cavities and adding rattles (available on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Fishing-Glass-Rattles-Insert-Attract/dp/B00NNV51D4) for extra allure. To add weight without compromising the design, I used bird shot in the vertical holes, allowing them to rattle freely. Two weights are sufficient; simply place them in the front and back holes, leaving the horizontal middle hole open for the rattles.
