Dive Finger Spool

Dive Finger Spool

thingiverse

This is a versatile scuba diving finger spool designed for general purposes, with a standard size that's perfect for a variety of applications. To assemble it, simply glue the components together and load up the line. My modification to this model involves adding a chamfer on the inside of the hub, which significantly increases the surface area for gluing. I currently have two spools in my inventory, but I must admit that they remain untested. Due to their uncertain reliability, I would not recommend using them as jump spools in a cave setting unless you're confident in their performance. However, these spools are ideal for low-visibility open-water dives where I need to return to a specific location quickly, such as when I'm tasked with recovering a lost outboard motor and require a reliable means of lifting it back onto the boat.
