DIV windows for outhouse
thingiverse
I wanted to add a window to our out house without breaking the bank. I didn't want to spend a fortune on materials, so I came up with a creative solution. I designed a 3D printed clip that could hold a piece of glass from the dollar store. To create the holes in the out house walls, I used a 4 1/4 inch hole saw. The clips were made slightly loose to allow for wood expansion and contraction without shattering the glass. If the glass breaks, I'll cover the holes with plastic. So far, we've survived two winters without any problems. You can check out my project on our website at https://www.zambadu.com/projects/windows-on-a-budget.
