Ditto Printer angled duct
thingiverse
The replacement fan duct for my "Ditto +" printer addresses an issue with the original duct being unsupported on one side. This new duct clips over the fan and keeps it out of the way while redirecting air over the PLA during printing. A revised version, DittoDuctAngle2.stl, has been created to redirect airflow down onto the print rather than the Jhead, preventing excessive cooling. Additionally, a loop has been added at the top for attaching a zap strap leash to lift the fan away from prints. This redesigned duct was printed at .1 layer with 2 shells, 0.5 infill in PLA without support and has minor strands at the top of the loop. It was inspired by the original part but created from scratch in Sketchup.
