Get your freaky tentacle out of my face! A rapid project, sculpt, print and paint... A prawn from District 9! I frequently re-work people's stuff so much either for work or fun, it's wonderful to finally create something myself! I loved this movie, it had a great mix of comedy, sci-fi, probably falls in my top twenty. Sculpted in Blender, painted with acrylics. Antenna I used unused scraps of filament, that was the plan. I didn't want to try and print an antenna; it just wouldn't work, so I made one without and put holes for the filament. Just melt the ends and push them in, they will form a ball and create their own ball joint (see photo) - they stay inside and you can position the antenna wherever you like! I had a tough time separating the supports in the mouth, so after my print I cut the front off so you can print it separately; trust me, you'll thank me when you clean it up - there aren't many supports this way. There is an internal column to support the inside of the mouth, but you can print this at 0% infill; I did, just use two shells.
