We empower our 6th grade students to integrate Hummingbird robotics components into massive creature projects they design and build as part of the Legends of the Trash Creatures project (http://bit.ly/LTCproject). To facilitate safe and secure mounting of these components, I have created accessories that complement different parts. This is the first in a series, focusing on the distance sensor. Future posts will introduce additional accessories over the coming weeks.
