I created this for a friend who oversees IT operations at her church. They acquired four Displays2Go 360 stands to securely hold 5th or 6th gen iPads for taking attendance during events for children. However, they encountered an issue where pressing the sleep button without opening the stand, lifting the iPad, and manually activating it was impossible due to the rubber corner bumpers partially covering the button. After several attempts, a single wooden block was successfully created, but four were needed. Fortunately, all four work perfectly now, securely holding the iPads in place and allowing any key or small item to control the device. This design accommodates volunteers who often carry keys but rarely possess small poking tools, making it ideal for universal use at the station. I'm unsure if this block will support other iPad generations; if you try using it, please share your experience. I recommend rotating the block so that the cut-out faces up and the largest flat surface is down to prevent sagging. Alternatively, orienting the button stub upwards may eliminate the need for additional support. The STL file might require some manual adjustments due to its tendency to load sideways.
